Baumann Engineering has designed many custom homes.  At this time, we've only found the time to put one project's photos up.  Check back, we'll be adding many more custom homes to this page.

Stonehouse, Kauai, HI  --  2-way ductile reinforced concrete frame home, designed to withstand hurricane force winds, and tsunami force waves.  Project utilized architectural and engineering students among its workers, they slept on the beach in tents and got hands on construction experience under the direction of their instructor, David Klages, and Structural Engineer Hanns Baumann.
